We try to keep our association clients updated on a variety of things. Since so many association member travel, we thought it would be of interest to know that airlines, in an attempt to have more on-time flights, are trying to speed the boarding process. Their hope is that it will decrease angry customers who often miss their connections. Delta is now pre-loading all carry-on bags with airline employees loading them in the bin above your assigned seat.
While customer service may be one motivation, it also costs $30 a minute for a plane to idle while passengers struggle with their carry ons.
